The updater downloads the new version of Postman and replaces the
Postman.app executable during the restart process. If the updater isn't able to write to the folder, you'll get an error while updating.
Check if you have seamless write access to the directory where the app lives in.
If not, you can move the
Postman.appbundle to your user directory's applications folder
~/Applications, instead of your system-level folder
/Applicationsto resolve this.
If it is not a permission issue for you, try renaming or clearing the Postman installation folder which generally resolves it.
